Shock resistant sealed plastic enclosure with IP67 protection with mounting panel, Plastim (Turkey).


The IP67 rated plastic housing offers several key advantages, especially for use in harsh environments:


High protection against moisture and dust:


The IP67 rating means the enclosure is fully protected against dust and can withstand brief immersion in water up to 1 metre deep for 30 minutes, making it ideal for installation in damp or dusty locations – for example, outdoors, in industrial areas or near bodies of water.


Corrosion resistance:

Unlike metal panels, plastic is not subject to corrosion, which is particularly valuable in aggressive environments – near the sea, in chemical plants, or in companies with high humidity.


Easy installation:

The plastic housing is much lighter than its metal counterpart, which simplifies transportation and installation, especially in hard-to-reach places.


Dielectric properties:

Plastic does not conduct electricity, which increases safety when working with electrical equipment and reduces the risk of short circuits.


UV resistance:
If a special ultraviolet plastic is used, the shielding will retain its properties for a long time, even with continuous exposure to sunlight.
