This water level relay has several important differences from other similar water level control relays presented on this website.
This relay is digital, which means it contains a microprocessor that controls the operation of the entire device. This makes it possible to implement a number of additional functions that not only increase ease of use but also extend the lifespan of the water level sensors.
1) The current between the water level sensors does not flow continuously but in pulses - this extends the lifespan of the electrodes submerged in water by more than 2 times!
2) The SSR-05D has a built-in timer for pump delay. A handy feature if the relay is used, for example, in a well (or wells) where the water level changes depending on the season - then you don't have to change the position of the upper sensor - you only need to adjust the delay time on the relay.
3) This level relay is also equipped with 3 LEDs to indicate how the water has filled the tank - upper, middle, and lower level. I agree that this is convenient if the relay is installed in the house and the tank is on the roof, in the basement, or outside.
The electrodes (liquid level sensors) are not included in the kit.
Be sure to order the water level sensors and a 2-amp circuit breaker to protect the input and output channels of this device (2 pieces).
