Relay for boiler water level control for installation in water heating systems with the ability to switch off the electric heating element in case of water shortage, for single-tank systems. SSR-09 TENSE

The SSR-09 is an advanced relay for boiler level control, designed to automatically regulate the water supply and protect the heating element from running dry. The device monitors the presence of liquid in the tank and automatically switches the pump and heating element on or off depending on the water level.

Key benefits

Dry run protection for the boiler and heating element extends the equipment's lifespan.

Automatic water level control: a relay switches the pump on when the water level is low and switches it off when the upper limit is reached.

Status indicators: built-in LEDs indicate the operation of the pump and heating element.

Easy installation: DIN rail mounting, convenient connection terminals.

Compact size and energy efficient.

Wide voltage range (170-260 VAC): stable operation even during overvoltage.

Operating principle

The SSR-09 relay uses electrodes to detect the water level:

When the water level falls below the set mark, the device switches the pump on to fill the tank.

When the water level reaches the upper limit, the pump is automatically switched off.

If there is no water near the heating element, the relay blocks the power to the heating element to prevent overheating.

This logic ensures that the boiler always operates safely and efficiently.

Usage

Electric boilers and water heaters

Heating systems with storage tank

Water supply stations and pumping installations

Drinking water tanks and storage tanks

Installation and connection

The installation is carried out on a standard DIN rail inside the enclosure.

Connection is made with screw terminals. The electrodes are installed in the tank at the required levels (upper and lower control).

For stable operation, the use of copper conductors with a cross-section of at least 2.5 mm² is recommended.
